Unless otherwise stated, all meetings are held from 7 PM to 9 PM at 129 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI.
NAMIam offers free educational meetings the last Monday of every month (unless it is a holiday). Meetings cover topics related to mental health in our community such as Mental Health First Aid Training, Q & A with Marquette County Sheriff Candidates, Marquette Clubhouse, Crisis Intervention Training CIT, and Stress Management.

NAMIam will offer a new, FREE Family-to-Family course beginning in September, 2018.
Classes will meet every Tuesday, 6-8:30 PM for 12 weeks at 129 W. Baraga Avenue, Marquette. Classes are educational, supportive, and are completely confidential. NAMI Family-to-Family is a class for families, partners, and friends of individuals with mental illness. The course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental illness, increase coping skills, and empower participants to become advocates for their family members. This program was designated as an evidence-based program by SAMHSA.

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families.
NAMIam is the local NAMI affiliate serving Alger and Marquette Counties in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

NAMIam holds support meetings on the second Monday and third Thursday of every month for anyone with a mental health condition, caregivers, and family. Special NAMI programs such as Family-to-Familyand Homefront are offered at specific times of the year. All meetings and programs are free and confidential.
