members share their knowledge and experiences, but this is not to be
considered the same as professional advice or treatment. Appropriate
professionals should be consulted as needed.
We are a
support group that focuses on allowing participants to share with each
other and learn from each other in a safe and confidential
environment. Support can keep us in the present, while attaining the
participants own definition of recovery. We focus on the "here
and now".
We meet
weekly for ninety minutes in an organized group facilitated by others with
serious mental health issues.
